What is Callbreak and why is it so popular?
Callbreak is one of South Asia's most popular trick-taking card games. Four players play with a standard 52-card deck, and each player must place a bid at the start of the round — declaring in advance how many tricks they think they can win. Spades always serve as the trump suit.
Demand for Callbreak in Bangladesh is growing day by day, from home gatherings to online platforms. At ks99, the game is available in a smooth interface where you can play from any device — smartphone, tablet or computer.
The main appeal of the game is the blend of strategy. Relying on luck alone is not enough — analysing opponents' bids, playing your hand cards cleverly, and using the trump at the right moment are the keys to winning. This mental challenge is what makes Callbreak at ks99 so popular among Bangladeshi players.

The core rules of Callbreak and strategies to win
The main goal in Callbreak is not to win fewer tricks than you declared. In each deal, four players are each dealt 13 cards. The first player plays any card, then the others follow suit in clockwise order. If a player has no card of that suit, they may use the trump (Spades).
- If you have high Spades in hand, bid slightly higher — it's possible to take extra tricks with trumps.
- In the first two rounds, watch your opponents' bids — this gives you a hint about the strength of their hands.
- Winning more tricks than your bid earns you extra points, but collecting too many overtricks can result in a penalty.
- Save your Spades — using them on important tricks late in the game can turn the result around.
- Try to stop opponents from meeting their bids — this is a core part of defensive play.
- Build your skills in ks99's free practice mode before placing real bets.
